Plaintiffs, as the surviving parents of Barry Wayne Dike, instituted this action to recover damages for the death of their 2-year-old child, alleged to have resulted from the negligent operation of one of defendant companys trucks by its employee, defendant Ehrhart. The defendants answer denied negligence on the part of defendants, and as an affirmative defense, alleged contributory negligence on the part of plaintiffs. At the conclusion of the trial the jury returned a verdict in favor of defendants. Plaintiffs motion for a new trial was denied. They now appeal from the judgment entered pursuant to the verdict and from the order denying their motion.
